Description
FAMD started its activities as a Romanian NGO in 1993. Its main objective is to support the development of the rural mountain economy. Fields of activities are rural development, community development, Micro-enterprise development, Agro-ecology, Agro-tourism.
Experience
FAMD has extensive experience in rural development, farmer trainings, and marketing of products as well as establishment of milk processing units. More than 20 projects with budgets from 15,000 € to 500,000 have been developed in this field among which several have been co financed by SDC.
