The participants visited the berries, mushrooms and plants processing unit, this being the main output and investment of the project, a unit  which  will keep working to support diversification of the services offered by FAMD by supporting the capitalization of the natural resources existing in area.

"We are pleased that today we successfully accomplish the Romanian-Norwegian project, with FAMD being the leading partner. In a local economy that tends to block itself, we offer opportunities to capitalize the local products, which has a positive impact not only on the income of the locals involved, but also benefits for the health and nutrition of the customer. In what the energetic independence is concerned, the most difficult step was to surpass the bureaucracy an NGO has to go through in order to become a supplier of energy, connected to the national electricity system. " -declared Ing. Ioan Agapi, FAMD director

"Green Processing of Wild Berries Social Enterprise project adressed a few major and sensitive subjects regarding the local resources, the environment, in the same time having a social component. The Norwegian partners have enabled us the use of NIBIO's best practices and know-how. The Romanian partners adapted this information to the local context and reality. It is very important that the non-wood processing unit operates on green energy. Those interested in capitalization can learn from this success story and best practices that can guide their first steps."  - said  Dr. Ovidiu Spînu, OpenFields Foundation CEO
